Biddulph Moor school receives their first OFSTED inspection since 2017

A Biddulph Moor School has received their latest OFSTED inspection.

Moor First School was inspected on 13th and 14th December last year, with the report being published in the last few days. This was the first routine inspection since COVID-19 with the previous inspection taking place in June 2017.

Moor First School received ‘good’ ratings for ‘behaviour and attitudes’ and ‘personal development.’ Whilst for the ‘quality of education’, ‘leadership and management’ and ‘early years provision,’ they received a ‘requires improvement.’ The school’s rating overall was ‘requires improvement.’

The inspectors noted that both pupils and staff were proud to be part of the school, and that leaders had designed a “well-structured and sequenced curriculum in all subject areas.”
