Buxton and Leek College students raise money for Red Nose Day

This year Red Nose Day was supported by the staff and students of Buxton & Leek College on Wednesday and Thursday as they welcomed clients to their Salon to experience a range of mini hair & beauty treatments.

For a cash donation the colleges hair & beauty students offered both walk-ins and pre-booked clients a range of mini treatments including hair washes and blow dries, styling treatments, mini manicures, and tinsel and feathers.

the Salon also hosted a bake sale, crazy hair competition, and a ‘Guess the Teddy’ game.

All of the money raised through the college’s Red Nose Day activities has gone directly to Comic Relief.

Tom Malpass, a spokesperson for BLC said:
“Comic Relief is a great cause and we’re proud of how hard our students have worked to fundraise and create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the clients we’ve welcomed over the last two days.”
