Just hours after being appointed as the new manager of Buxton FC, Craig Elliott sat down with Moorlands Radio to discuss his arrival at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.
Elliott arrives at Buxton from local rivals Matlock Town and he has previously managed Shaw Lane Aquaforce and National League North side Boston United. At Shaw Lane he took them to three promotions to help them climb up the non-League pyramid. While at Boston United, he continued to get the Pilgrims challenging for promotion to the top tier of Non-League football- the National League.
In this interview with the station, Elliott explains what attracted him to the role, his thoughts on the current playing set-up and introduces us to his backroom team.
