Staffordshire Moorlands council-controlled car parks are to be free on certain days on the run up to Christmas, to support local traders and shoppers in the 3 Moorlands towns.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has agreed to make parking free to support the light switch-on events in Leek on Friday 18th November and Cheadle on Saturday 19th November. And there will be no charge for parking in Biddulph on Saturday 26th November.
Drivers can also park without charge in car parks in Biddulph and Leek on every December Saturday up to and including Christmas Eve.
In Cheadle, parking will be free on Fridays 16th and 23rd and on Saturdays 1st and 17th December.
