Being the Chairman at a football club, no matter the level, is no easy gig. Even after the euphoria of winning a league title the job can be brutal.
Leek Town Chairman Jon Eeles always gives his best to the club. The constant strive for improvement and the dissapoitment when plans don’t go the way you envisaged are met head on by the Chairman, his board, club officials and management the team.

In a Moorlands Radio Sport exclusive, Jon Eeles gave an open and frank interview to our senior sports reporter Dave Stringer. Jon wanted to get the club’s position all all the latest happenings across to all the suppoerters and interested parties. Listen below:
We thank Jon for his openess and honesty in what has been the ups and downs as life as chairman at a step 3 club.
Bring on the new season….
