It has been announced there will be free parking on all Staffordshire Moorlands District Council’s car parks this coming Saturday 1st May.
This is in recognition that all shops, cafes and bars will be open and operating under the current government Covid guidelines.
This is good news for those reseidents and visitors who need to drive into town. The SMDC long stay car parks will be free of charge all day. No tickets are required. The short stay car parks are also free for the first three hours.
The town council has also arranged to put up some flags and bunting to help brighten up the atmosphere and celebrate our amazing shops and market traders.
