Leek High School receive further OFSTED monitoring visit

Leek High School have received a further OFSTED monitoring visit.

In the report published this week, the OFSTED inspector visited the school currently in special measures on 27th and 28th February.

The purpose of the inspection was to identify and report on the school’s progress.

In the report, the inspector noted that significant improvements to the quality of education had been made including improved support for SEND pupils.

They also noted that behaviour and attendance had also improved.

In their summary, the inspector said that Leaders have made progress to improve the school, but more work is necessary for the school to be no longer judged as requiring special measures.
