Leek restaurant closes as team heads to Turkey following earthquake

As the fallout from a huge earthquake in Turkey continues, a local restaurant has closed as the team heads to the country to support.

Moss Rose Mediterranean Restaurant in Leek issued a post on their social media saying:

“The first-degree relatives of our restaurant’s chef, assistant chef and most of our staff were affected by the earthquake.

Our team is going to Turkey to find their families and support humanitarian aid. That’s why we’re closed for a while. Hope to see you again soon.”
