Northern Premier League West league leaders Leek Town have added defender Ollie Heywood to their squad ahead of a hectic period of football.
The defender joins the club on an initial 12 week loan spell from National League North side Chester FC, where the former academy captain has made 40 appearances for the club.
This will be Heywood’s third loan spell in the Northern Premier League having previously spent time at 1874 Northwich and Runcorn Linnets.
The loan was approved by the relevant bodies earlier this week and, he will be available for selection tomorrow afternoon as Leek make the journey to Prescot Cables tomorrow afternoon.
