Leek Town drawn away to AFC Fylde in the Emirates FA Cup 4th Qualifying round

Leek Town have been handed a tough away draw in the 4th Qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup as they head to National League side AFC Fylde.

The Lancashire side sit 22nd in the Vanarama National League having been promoted back to the top tier of Non-League football last season. They previously sent from 2016-2020 in the National League and, even made the National League Promotion Playoff Final in 2018 where they lost 3-0 to Salford City at Wembley Stadium.

This is their first FA Cup tie of the season as National League sides get a bye to this round of the competition, while Leek Town have had to see off Belper Town, Grimsby Borough, Worcester City and South Shields to get to this stage of the competition.

The tie will take place on Saturday 14th October with the winners picking up £9,375, while teams defeated at this stage of the competition collect £3,125.
