Man arrested after drugs found during Cheadle, Cheddleton and Biddulph warrants

Moorlands Police have arrested a man after finding cocaine and cannabis during a number of warrants in Cheadle, Cheddleton and Biddulph.

Officers forced entry into three addresses in the early hours of Thursday morning and found a number of suspected class A and B drugs, as well as mobile phones and drug paraphernalia. 

In Cheadle, they found:

•         A metal tin containing 19 wraps of suspected class A drugs

•         A tub of cannabis and a grinder

•         A mobile phone

A 27-year-old man, from Cheadle, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis.

He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

At the address in Cheddleton, police seized a mobile phone for examination and voluntarily interviewed a man in his 20s.

Then, in Biddulph, they found a quantity of cannabis inside the address.
