Man charged after police find cannabis grow in Leek

A man has been charged after police found a cannabis grow in Leek.

Qimi Metaj, 33, of no fixed address, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (21st August) charged with producing cannabis and being concerned in the production of cannabis.

He has been remanded in custody.

It comes after officers attended an address in Leek on Friday (18th August) and found a cannabis grow inside.

Officers across the region are continuing to proactively target drug cultivation as part of their Operation Levidrome commitment.
