Man Remanded After Two Boys Injured in Stoke-on-Trent

A man charged after two teenage boys were injured in Stoke-on-Trent last week has been remanded in custody.

Police were called at 10.05pm on Wednesday 27 October following the incident near to garages on Borrowdale Road, near Spragg House Lane, Norton.

Two 13-year-old boys received injuries consistent with the discharge of a shotgun. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were discharged the next day.

Kacy John Daniel Flynn, 24, of Chillington Way, Norton, Stoke-on-Trent, was charged with two counts of possess a shotgun with intent to endanger life and three counts of Section 18 – wounding with intent. He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance later this month.

It is being treated as an isolated incident and there is not believed to be a wider threat to the local community.
