C’mon England!! 🙂

While we want you to enjoy yourselves, we want to make sure that you enjoy the games safely and that everyone has a good time. We have prepared some key advice for you throughout the tournament and the rest of the festive period.

  • Anti-social behaviour, violence and online hate of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • During the World Cup, we anticipate a high number of people will be out in the town and city centres as well as local venues celebrating in the run up to Christmas. Please be aware of your behaviour round others.
  • Remember to drink responsibility, especially if you are planning to drive the next day as you may still be over the limit the next day.
  • If you are planning to have some drinks while watching the games, remember to arrange a lift home or book a taxi.
  • Do not drink and drive.

Throughout the tournament we’ll have extra officers policing Staffordshire’s streets, towns and city centres, particularly during key England games. Our aim is to make sure you enjoy the football safely and be aware that officers will quickly step in if anyone does commit a crime or start acting anti-socially.

We also have support information and advice for anyone who experiences anti-social behaviour or domestic abuse.
