Moorlands MP, Dame Karen Bradley has announced that she will be hosting another Pensioners Information & Advice Fair, this time in Biddulph on 3rd May.
As a local MP, Karen receives daily requests from older people for help and information about all sorts of issues such as accommodation, pensions, healthcare, access to the internet and transport, just to mention a some of the many issues.
Karen is hosting the Fair to give pensioners and those approaching retirement age the opportunity to find out more about the local services available in the Moorlands and hopefully tackle some of the issues before they become a problem.
Stands will include representatives from local and national services and charities who will explain the services they provide, how they can help, and how people can access them.
Karen commented,
“I am really looking forward to hosting my next Pensioners Information & Advice Fair and I am grateful to all the local organisations who have signed up to have stands. My previous Fairs were a huge success, so please come along to get
your questions answered and find out more. Everybody is welcome!
The Moorlands MP will be talking about the fair on Moorlands Radio’s Mid-Morning Programme on Wednesday 1st May.
