Moorlands MP welcomes £58,975.00 investment for sports facilities in the Moorlands

Moorlands MP, Dame Karen Bradley has welcomed the news that Staffordshire Moorlands will benefit from £58,975.00 funding into grassroots sports.

Over 1,100 projects are receiving funding towards facilities such as changing rooms, pavilions, state of the art 3G football turf, goalposts, and floodlights, improving access to sport and physical activity for local communities.

Commenting, Karen said:

“I welcome the news that the Government is helping people across the Moorlands get active by investing £58,975.00 into our grassroots sports facilities. This includes grants of £1,163 for goalposts at Endon High School, £5,395 for grass pitch/AGP maintenance equipment at the Meadows in Knypersley and £52,417 for a new multi-use games area and new floodlights at Hot Lane playing fields.”
