After one of Leek Town’s most successful season’s, the club inevitably turns it’s attention to preparing for life in a higher league and coping with the issues that brings.
Recruitment and retention of playing and non playing staff is crucial to that preparation. This can often bring disapointment and excitement in equal measures.
Leek Town have certainly witnessed the high’s of signing players who will improve the squad and help it to compete at a higher level. Likewise they have had to endure the disapointment of losing players they hoped would continue on the club’s journey to a higher status within the football pyramid.
There has been little downtime for the club’s Chairman Jon Eeles, Club Secretary Tom Eeles and First Team Manager Josh Brehaut.
After a flurry of activity across the club’s Social Media channels recently, I decided to track down manager Josh Brehaut for an exclusive interview with Moorlands Radio Sport to get his thoughts on the highs and lows thus far as they prepare for the new season in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
