New image issued alongside extensive searches to find missing Moorlands man

Police are continuing to carry out extensive searches using specialist teams and detectives in their efforts to find missing man Malcolm, from Lask Edge near Biddulph Moor.

The 74-year-old was reported missing on Monday night (20th January) and was seen at around 4.15pm on Sunday (19th January).

Officers have teamed up with volunteer search and rescue teams from Staffordshire, Cheshire and West Mercia and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team to follow up any reported sightings of Malcolm over the last few days.

Extensive searches continue to be carried out at Knypersley Lake, his home address and the surrounding areas.

Police are continuing to deploy specialist teams, drones, sonar technology and local officers to follow up on any information that could help find him.

Malcolm is described as 6ft tall, of slim build with fair hair.

Officers also now able to share a new image of Malcolm to help with the appeal for information.

He is believed to be wearing a black jacket, blue overalls and may be using a homemade walking stick, approximately one metre in height.
