The Valiants have announced that nineteen year old Oliver Arblaster will join the Valiants on a Season Long Loan from Premier League side Sheffield United.
The arrival of Arblaster will to add to the competition for selection in the Vale Midfield, with the likes of Ben Garrity, Tommy McDermott and Funso Ojo already established, and Jason Lowe, Conor Grant and Ethan Chislett recently joining the Club in the midfield department.
Vale are currently without Club Captain Tom Conlon for the first three months of the Season due to injury, so Arblaster will look impress in friendlies against Grimsby Town and Doncaster Rovers in an attempt secure a starting role at Barnsley on the 05th August as Vale start their EFL Season.
Although a member of the Youth setup at Bramall Lane, Arblaster made four substitute appearances for the Blades during the 2022/23 season featuring against Cardiff, Burnley, Hull and Stoke City in a 3-1 defeat to the Potters last August.
