Port Vale Win in Friendly Against Luton Town Youngsters [AUDIO ONLINE]

Port Vale beat Luton Town on home soil in a competative home friendly last night (Tuesday) by 3 goals to 1.

Luton included first teamers Andros Townsend, Cauley Woodrow and striker Joe Taylor.

Townsend opened the scoring for the visitors with a trademark free kick in the 12th minute.

Goals from Ronan Curtis on 20 minutes and then a great cross by Chislett was converted by Hall to give the Valiants a half time lead.

In the second half the Vale continued to dominate play and they were rewarded with their 3rd goal on 69 minutes through Paton.

An impressive performance from the home side will surely boost confidence going into their final preseason fixture at home to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 3rd August.
