Staffordshire Fire & Rescue’s best kept secret

A recent charity car wash at Leek Community Fire Station helped raise funds for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue charity, SESHAA.

They are raising money as they need four pallet loads of fire and rescue equipment to send to Rzeszów in Poland, for their latest project, supporting the Polish Volunteer Fire Service in Sokolow Malopolski, which sits around 30 miles from the Ukraine border.

Staffordshire Emergency Services Humanitarian Aid Association (SESHAA), is a charity that has been running for nearly 30 years, made of up of volunteers who are current or veteran fire fighters.

Part of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, through contacts in UK Fire Services and central government, they collect donations of vehicles and equipment to supply and train the fire fighters of war-torn and third world countries, in modern fire and rescue techniques.
