Staffordshire Moorlands knife amnesty underway

Moorlands Police are encouraging Moorlands Residents to ‘ditch the blade’ as part of a wider campaign.

The knife amnesty runs between 13th-19th November. This amnesty is to further enhance the safety on Moorlands streets by having knives handed into police stations.

Officers are asking residents or anyone they know that has a knife or bladed instrument to take this opportunity to hand them into police.

Staffordshire Moorlands has the lowest levels of knife crime in the county and local officers want to lower the levels even further. There are amnesty boxes at Biddulph, leek and Cheadle police stations.
