Stoke City’s manager Alex Neil appeared non-plussed with the questioning at today’s Stoke City press conference in preparation for his side’s vital relegation-6-pointer with Huddersfield Town.
Under-pressure Neil is attempting to steer The Potters away from the relegation zone, a similar position to that which he inherited nearly 6 months ago.
Firstly, he objected to a question about the consistency of his Stoke side, stating: “You take what I say then you sort of turn that into what you want it to look like!”.
Then he himself turned a question to him into a completely different question: “You’re basically saying that the soul was sucked out of Ryan Woods whilst he was here?”
Whatever the question though, he is keen for Stoke to do well, and take all 3 points, helped by his 5 enthusiastic new loan signings.
