Tribute to man who died in Cellarhead collision

The family of a 20-year-old man who died following a collision in Cellarhead have paid tribute to him.

Zac Fox, from Cheadle, was in a Seat Ibiza on Cellarhead Road at about 9.30pm on Thursday 27th April when the car collided with the roadside.

Police went to the scene with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, Zac was pronounced dead a short time later.
His family continue to be supported by specially-trained officers at this difficult time.

In a tribute, his family said: “At rest at the age of 20 only one month before his 21st on 27 April 2023 doing what he loved. He was a dearly loved only son to Lisa Fox and much loved brother to Carla Fox, grandson and nephew. Zac was a very thoughtful and kind lad, always helped out others when he could and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends and people who knew him. Donations if required to Midlands Air Ambulance.”

A man, who was also in the Seat, is assisting with inquiries.
