Over the years the Werrington Patients Participation Group (PPG) has developed to enhance benefits for residents culminating with the launch of the Wellbeing Centre based in the Community Library which links the enterprise with the Village Surgery which are located together. To date nearly 3,500 wellbeing sessions have been arranged.
This community approach places Werrington in a unique position and the PPG is now looking to move forward with a new series of meetings which are open to both patients and residents in general. So, everyone is invited to come along and express their constructive thoughts. For 2024 a series of three-monthly meeting has been organised, each the first Thursday in the month to make them easy to remember.
They are – 7th March, 6th June, 5th September and 5th December 2024.
An initial ‘move-forward’ meeting is scheduled for Thursday 7th December 2023 to start the ball rolling. All meetings are a 1.15pm start in Werrington Village Surgery and there will be a cuppa and biscuits – no need to book, just turn up.
