Detectives appeal for CCTV/dashcam footage after man was stabbed in street in Packmoor


A 20-year-old man suffered stab wounds after he was attacked by three men in a Stoke-on-Trent street.

Detectives are appealing for information after the victim was punched and, after he fell to the floor, stabbed twice in the back.
The incident happened in Mellor Street, Packmoor, on Wednesday evening (Jan 6) at around 8pm.

Detectives are particularly keen for anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between 7.30pm and 8.15pm to get in touch with them.

The victim is recovering after receiving hospital treatment.

The attackers are described as three youths, all aged around 16 to 17. One is described as white and wearing a grey tracksuit and blue face mask; the second as white and 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a black tracksuit.

A third youth is described as black, 5ft 9ins tall, with shoulder-length dreadlocks, and wearing a black tracksuit.
