Appeal for witnesses after Leek quad bike collision

Officers investigating a non-stop collision involving a pedestrian and a quad bike in Leek are appealing for witnesses.

A woman in her 70s suffered a broken wrist, a broken ankle, a broken leg and a cut to her eyebrow as a result of the collision, at around 11.30am, on Abbotts Road, on Tuesday 30th January. West Midlands Ambulance Service took her to hospital for treatment after it happened. She remains in hospital at this time.

Following the collision, the man who was on the quad bike ditched it at the scene and made off. The quad was blue with yellow near the handlebars.

Officers, who carried out CCTV and house-to-house enquiries yesterday, are urging anyone in the area who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident 251 of 30 January.
