Biddulph Library Community Garden officially opened

An underused outdoor area at Biddulph Library has been transformed as part of the OUTSIDE community arts programme.

The initial public engagement phase, took place from 24th to 29th April, where library users and the wider Biddulph community shared their thoughts and ideas.

OUTSIDE has commissioned outdoor arts organisation Wild Rumpus to create a collection of nature-based interactive installations which will be used to prompt conversations and capture opinions from visitors.

The new Biddulph Library Community Garden was officially opened on Tuesday evening (8th August) by the Biddulph Town Mayor Councillor Ken Harper and Mayoress Mrs Sheryl Bayley.

Staffordshire’s poet laureate Dawn Jutton also attended and gave a special reading.
