The Moorlands Radio Sports Team endeavour to cover as many sports as we possibly can.
Apart from Football and Cricket, local sport is plentiful and varied. There are local Tennis, Rugby, Hockey, Golf, Badminton teams playing in local leagues richt across the county.
Our Senior Sports Reporter Dave Stringer is on a mission this summer to talk to as many of the local teams and leagues as he possibly can.
Recently Dave managed to catch up with the Chair of Stoke Netball League Sam Oliver to find out what the local Netball scene is like.
In schools girls across Staffordshire play this popular sport throughout their time in Education. Those going on to higher education often keep playing but how many continue to participate after?
