Moorlands commuters will now be able to make use of a new link road in neighbouring Stoke. The £43 million road has taken two years to complete. It links Wolstanton roundabout on the A500 with Etruria Valley and Festival Park in Stoke-on-Trent.
It also connects to the wider Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone which has welcomed more than 40 businesses and 3,000 new jobs since 2016.
The launch event featured a ribbon cutting and the official unveiling of a new Spitfire sculpture which was installed on a new roundabout next to the link road.
