Police re-appeal for information following Harriseahead burglary

Officers are re-appealing for information after a burglary where a group of men forced their way into a home in Harriseahead.
Police received reports of a break-in at a property on High Street on Monday 20th November.
Three men forced their way inside at around 5.20pm after the victim, a man in his 80s, opened the door to them. One suspect then held him down whilst the others ransacked the property. Gold jewellery was stolen from inside.
The men later left in a silver Ford Focus. The victim was not physically injured but very shaken by this ordeal.
PC Noel Cullen, from CID North, said: “We now know that the silver Ford Focus was last seen heading past the Dog and Partridge pub, on Turnhurst Road, at 5.39pm towards Chell on that day.
“We are asking anyone with CCTV on Turnhurst Road and heading into the Chell area to check their footage from the time. The vehicle has a black trim along the front and rear doors with five-spoked wheels.
“If you have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage that could help us, please message us on our LiveChat via our website or call 101, quoting 548 of 20th November.”
If you want to report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.  Tell them what you know not who you are.
