Staffordshire Moorlands District Council have elected their new leadership team.
At a full council meeting on Wednesday night (17th May) District Councillors elected Councillor Lyn Swindlehurst as Chair. Councillor Ian Plant was elected as Vice Chair.
Councillor Mike Gledhill was elected Leader of the Council with Councillor Darren Price as deputy.
The district council is now Labour controlled.

Councillor Charlotte Atkins – Portfolio for Services.
Councillor Chris Wood – Portfolio for Finance.
Councillor Darren Price – Portfolio for Regeneration and Planning.
Councillor Dave Proudlove – Cabinet Support.
Councillor Matt Swindlehurst – Portfolio for Leisure and Tourism.
Councillor Nigel Yates – Portfolio for Climate change and the environment.
