Two Biddulph schools to receive investment for building improvements

Two Biddulph schools are set to receive funding to improve and refurbish their buildings.

The Department for Education has created a Condition Improvement Fund of over 450 million pounds.

Biddulph High School and James Bateman Middle School will receive part of the funding to improve their school buildings.

859 academies, sixth-form colleges and voluntary aided schools in every region of the country will receive a share of the funding, created to help refurbish and repair school buildings.

Commenting on the investment, Moorlands MP Karen Bradley said:  “It is great news that two of our local schools – Biddulph High School and James Bateman Middle School will receive part of the £450 million investment from the Condition Improvement Fund.”
