Port Vale have announced that New Zealand International Declan Wynne has joined the Valiants on a short Term Contract until the end of the season.
Although born in South Africa, Wynne took New Zealand citizenship and has represented the “All Whites” on fifteen occasions having mostly played at left back, though is comfortable in a centre back role too.
Wynne, who was without a Club since his departure from Charleston Battery at the end of 2023, has also represented Detroit City, Phoenix Rising and Oklahoma City in a career that has mainly been based within the MLS and USL Championship in the United States.
Wynne joins after a successful trial and at this stage there are no details to any extensions as part of the deal.
