Appeal over cannabis plants discovered at property in Chell

Police are appealing for information over the discovery of over 100 cannabis plants at a property in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers attended a property off James Brindley Way, Chell, at around 12.20am this morning (Wednesday 11 May) following reports of suspicious activity.

On arrival, officers found over 100 cannabis plants at the address.

According to a witness, a group of men emerged from a blue Nissan Micra and caused damage to the front door of a property to gain access.

Nothing was reported as stolen.

One of the men was seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and dark Adidas bottoms. Three other men were also seen wearing black clothing.

The Micra was located at around 1.30am this morning (Wednesday 11 May) in Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent.
