A shoplifting incident occurred at Go Outdoors on Derby Street in Leek at approximately 3:30pm on Friday (7th June).
A white male was observed taking items from the store.
He was then seen running down an alley at the rear of the Roebuck on Derby Street, later passing by Leek Oatcakes on Haywood Street.
The suspect was carrying several fleece-style jackets.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage.
